Monitoring of Ocean Variables - UoG

The goal of the training is to introduce participants to marine data products and tools available through the Copernicus Program

PREREQUISITES

The course requires the following background from the participants:

• Internet access

• Working knowledge of English;

The following are preferred but not required

• Proficiency in using computers and capability to install software;

• Basic understanding of Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing 

AUDIENCE

This webinar series is intended for national, regional and non-governmental organizations involved in ocean monitoring and management. Applied scientists, students and professionals interested in utilising Copernicus Marine Service data and products.

COURSE FORMAT

Three (3) live sessions of 2 hrs each 

Certificates of participation will only be awarded to participants who attend all of the live sessions and complete the assignment.
