NARSS_The role of satellite in data monitoring oil pollution for Tunisia and Mauritania

Functioning Earth observations to monitor and map oil spills in North coast Africa (Mediterranean Sea region). The course helps the trainees to understand the basics behind using earth observations in the application of marine pollution particularly oil pollution, and how to map and detect spill accidents using Radar data. It also helps the trainees to download Sentinel 1 data and analyze it from scratch to detect the spill location and area in Km.
