MOI_The use of the eStation for generating PFZ maps and bulletin charts

This course will cover topics related to the “Monitoring and Forecasting of Physical and Biological Oceanography Variables” and “Fishing Zones Monitoring and Protection” applications of the Marine and Coastal Management Service. It will provide an overview of the tools developed on the eStation for processing and analysis of Chlorophyll-a and Sea Surface Temperature data. In addition to creating charts and maps for the Potential Fishing Zone (PFZ), the training will also focus on time series analysis for the production of monthly bulletin. This introduction should provide sufficient background on the eStation tools to ensure that course participants can produce their own monthly bulletin and PFZ charts independently afterwards.
